Circular Economy Value Propositions: Development of design strategies and methods/tools incorporating user and business requirements

Résumé


Contexte général:

To encourage circular solutions, it is necessary to provide solutions that fit the customers’ needs and new business models. The research focuses on searching for strategies, methods, and tools that promote and simplify CE solutions. Case studies of companies and their users will be conducted to understand how they work, as well as their requirements for circular solutions and design methods/tools. Based on this research, new design strategies will be developed. This research will propose a methodology for companies, supported by guidelines and tools for a new approach to design strategy based on circular economy principles.

Begin with understanding CE knowledge landscape. Formulate research question. After, develop a CE Tool for designers, test at partner companies, then perform analysis of results.
