EcoSD Annual Thematic Workshop

G-SCOP Laboratory, in partnership with Orange, is hosting the Annual Thematic Wokshop of the EcoSD network, on March 25th 2016 at Orange Stadium, 1 place des Droits de l'Homme, 93 210 La Plaine Saint Denis.

The aim of the workshop is to present the latest scientific and industrial development in the domain of usage integration for ecodesign and to shared sucessful and unfortunate experiences of integration. The main outcome of the workshop will be the identification of challenges and opportunities for join initiatives on the topic for  industry and research but also for communities and governments.
Usage integration is a core issue for sustainable design because it is often a major contributor to the environmental impacts of a product life cycle. Being a long lifespan or a high consumption of resources, it is crucial that designers and practitioners understand and act on the challenges raised uring usage for environmental  improvements of product design.
