Process of research

  • Study the image processing technique for use in 3D reconstruction.
  • Finding the new algorithm of edge detection using base on Harris corner detection, Canny edge detection and Hough line transform.
  • Finding the new methodology for apply and improve the speed of 3D reconstruction process.

Expected Results

  • 3D reconstruction by 2D feature extraction from two images.
  • The 3D object recognition algorithm can search for match in the solid model database is precisely and rapidly
