Ahmad is a Ph.D. student in Industrial Engineering at the University Grenoble Alpes, under the supervision of Dr. Maria Di-Mascolo and Dr. Abdourahim Sylla . As a member of the DOME2S team within the G-SCOP laboratory, his research contributes to the “ DCarbo ” project, a key initiative of the PEPR SPLEEN program focused on decarbonizing industrial processes in discrete manufacturing systems.
His doctoral thesis, Hybrid Artificial Intelligence (HAI) for Decarbonization Decision Making , explores the integration of statistical and symbolic AI to advance sustainable operations management. In this thesis, they are interested in using industrial data to automatically predict, control, and order actions to machines in different situations to achieve sustainable goals.
