Short Bio
I was born in Belgium, in 1993. I received the University degree in biomedical engineering from the UCLouvain, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, in 2016. From 2017 to 2019, I was a Research Assistant and Research Engineer with the Institute of Mechanics, Materials and Civil Engineering, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium and the TIMC Laboratory, Grenoble, France, respectively.

I obtained my Ph.D. degree from the Université Grenoble Alpes in 2023. My research, carried out within the Computer Aided Medical Interventions team at the TIMC Laboratory, was awarded with the Prix de Thèse 2023 by the GDR Robotique.

I was a postdoctoral fellow at KU Leuven in the Robot Assisted Surgery Group between 2023 and 2024.
 
Research
Since 2024 I am Associate Professor at the Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP) appointed to the G-SCOP laboratory with the COSYS team.
My current research interests include
  • medical or nonmedical instrumentation featuring non-conventional sensors,
  • the design of sustainable assistive devices,
  • and user centered design and perception.
Teaching
I teach the following courses at the Industrial Engineering School of the Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP):
  • Introduction to Systems Engineering ;
  • Industrial Design ;
  • Product Personalization (jointly with the Faculty of Physical Therapy) ;
  • Product Representations ;
  • Product Analysis and Simulation.
