Dr. Menshenin is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. His research interests include Model-Based Systems Engineering, System Architecture Methods to Support the Decision-Making Process, and Engineering Management of Complex Systems. He is leading the Systems Engineering Initiative closely partnering in R&D with the MedTech industry world leader. The Initiative aims to strengthen the “fuzzy front end” of the New Product Development in the MedTech innovations by developing the MedTech/Pharma systems engineering-tailored methods and processes and by their implementation through the digital engineering and MBSE capabilities.
Dr. Menshenin also teaches Systems Engineering, System Architecture and Model-Based Systems Engineering at Grenoble INP.
He is a member of the DESIGN Society, INCOSE, AFIS, and IFIP WG 5.1 (Global Product development for the whole life-cycle).
Dr. Menshenin received PhD in Engineering Systems from Skoltech (Moscow) in 2020. He was a visiting doctoral candidate in the System Architecture Group at MIT (Cambridge, MA) in 2016/17. Dr. Menshenin received the Specialist’s degree (M.Sc. degree equivalent) from the Department of Theoretical Physics and Quantum Technologies at MISIS (Moscow). He is also a graduate of Singularity University in 2012 located at NASA Ames Research Center (Silicon Valley, CA).
