SEEEP PhD Summer School 2025 – Call for Contribution/Participation

the SEEEP PhD Summer School is considered strategic by the CLUSTER Presidency, and we recently had a very productive meeting with Prof. Björn Laumert (KTH) and Prof. Daniel Smeulders (TU/e), who have been responsible for organizing the SEEEP PhD Summer School in China for many years.
The 2025 edition of the School will take place from August 17 to 30, with the first week (August 17–23) hosted by Zhejiang University (ZJU) in Hangzhou and the second week (August 24–30) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in Shanghai. The theme for this edition is: "Energy, Industry, and AI: Affordable Energy and Technological Transformation." More details can be found here: Weblink

To ensure greater participation in SEEEP activities from all CLUSTER members, as requested also by the CLUSTER Steering Committee at its last meeting in Grenoble end of last year, I kindly ask you if you can promote this event among your university’s PhD students, but also if you can inform @bjoern@kth.se (Prof. Laumert) and @Smeulders, David (Prof. Smeulders), keeping @CLUSTER Secretariat PoliTo in cc, by end of next week, Sunday, April 6, if any of your faculty would be interested in contributing to/participating in the School.

Indeed, we consider this event not only an excellent opportunity for PhD students, but also a valuable occasion for faculty members to establish and strengthen collaborations with prestigious Chinese universities and explore future research partnerships across various fields.
